CHARLOTTE, N.C. (February 8, 2019) – Julia Landauer announced that she is joining DJK Racing to compete in five races in the 2019 NASCAR Pinty’s Series Championship, Canada’s national stock car championship series.

“I’m really looking forward to working with DJ and his team and building on what I learned in the Pinty’s Series last year,” Landauer said. “We’ve worked hard during the off season to put this together and I can’t wait to get back on track in a few months?”

Landauer is confirmed to race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on May 19, Jukasa Motor Speedway on June 1, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on August 25, New Hampshire Motor Speedway on September 21, and again at Jukasa Motor Speedway on September 28.

“We’re really looking forward to working with Julia in 2019. We saw her adapt well to the Pinty’s car last year and we can’t wait to see what we can do when the season starts in May,” said DJ Kennington.

Landauer won the 2015 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Limited Late Model Championship at Motor Mile Speedway, then advanced to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in 2016, where she finished fourth in the championship, the highest finish for a female in the series’ 64-year history. She competed in the K&N Pro Series West again in 2017 and ran three races in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series in 2018.

DJK Racing drivers found Victory Lane three times in the 2018 season and DJ Kennington finished third overall in the 2018 championship points standings.
